A look behind the scenes of Nirint Shipping
21 sept. Do you have some cargo you want to ship? Nirint provides transport from Northern Europe to the Caribbean and vice versa. Nirint makes use of base ports in the Netherlands, Spain, Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire, Cuba and Canada. As the Nirint ships are en route anyway, the company is also happy to divert to other destinations outside of these transport routes.
First step
The booking comes in and the puzzle begins. The cargo must be classified. Therefore the vessels captain and the port captain provides a loading plan to make sure all goods are loaded at the right place.
Second step
The goods/cargo goes to the terminal by truck, train or inland vessel. The stevedore receives the goods on our behalf. He ensures that they are stored in the warehouse until our ship arrives to unload them.
